About

Free thinkers, craftsmen, artisans, entrepreneurs, & the public unite at The Summit–a unique cafe / bar space located in the vibrant Mission District in
San Francisco.
The Summit is the ultimate 3rd space, a concept popularized by Ray Oldenburg that states that society needs a place away from home (1st space) and work (2nd space). 3rd spaces are “anchors of community life and facilitate and foster broader, more creative interaction.” Societies across the world have 3rd spaces that manifest themselves as coffee houses, pubs, plazas, etc.
Located in the unique IO Ventures incubation space, The Summit is home to 40+ telecommuters and 4 startups that are given $25,000 of seed money and mentorship from leading tech leaders. IO Ventures is backed by the founders of seminal tech companies Myspace, Bittorrent, and YouTube. The Summit is their public living room.

How can I contact you guys? I think I could help relieve you of some of the burden of your legal work, possibly pro bono. My partner and I just started a law firm to help out food-related SF small businesses. Email me and let’s talk about what you guys need help with.

Stellar space. You guys are gonna get killed though if the wifi doesnt get pieced together. My iPhone does better on AT&T than monkeybrains.net did today. And the prices could certainly come down by about 20%. But that is such a distant second ignore that I said it.
